Once upon time there was a kingdom in Java Island, that was safe and peaceful. The people lived harmoniously. The land was so fertile and gave a lot of crops. But, one day there was a great disaster bore down upon kingdom. The attack of rats pest on rice plant.
“Rats-rats!” all the people screamed because they always met with it. Almost all of the place were brought under rats. Rats ate all the rice in rice barn and also rice field. On top it all crops planted as second crop in dry season in garden and croft were eaten away . Starvation started to threat all of kingdom.
One of the people shouted “ Let us kill them”. While he or she killed rats. Weirdly, if they could killed one rats. Suddenly arrived another five rats over and over again. Looked on the fact, the king declare the announcement : “ Who can abolish all the rats which threatening our kingdom, I shall give he or she a honour to be commander and lot of gold and the diamond . “See, the rats march down in a line like ants” shouted someone who saw it. A handsome man walked faster and faster, and the rats behind him did to . Finnaly they came to the beach with hard wave wich was ready to absorb all the things “ Enter to the sea” exclaimed that man while hitting his golden bende three times. At a glance all thousand visious rats were vanished swallowed by the sea wave.
Not for along time, the king got a news from his general that a man with a white horse brought a golden bende succed in terminating rats pest. King looked happy. Then he ordered the man to met him to take his reward. But the general said “ I’m sorry my lord, in my opinion to get the position as a commander is not that easy, so he is not proper to be a commander.” The general tried to pursued the king “ In fact he is a man who make the rats attack our kingdom” the general added.
Because of the evil general’s provocation, the king cancelled the reward for that man. The king even exiled this man, “ You bring the omen! Go way from my face!” That handsome man went in a rush from the king palace, he rode his white horse while hitting his golden bende four times. Instanly, he followed by thousand of children went to enter a big cave.
“Where is my child?” Screamed every parent that knew his/her children was gone. Immediately they looked out for the king. The general reported that all the children in that kingdom were spelled and brought to a cave by handsome man. Right away release them. Do not get them in hurt condition. Commanded the king to the general. Then the general prepared the choosen soldier to combat that cave. King’s Soldier under the order of the general went to the cave. They tried to got the children back from that ghost cave. They tried so hard to opened cave door, but it would not open.
“I’m sorry my lord, we can not save children from ghost cave, “said the general to The King. Heard that, the king became angry and immediately punished the general. The people would punish him. That wicked general started to be sentenced by the parent’s. Suddenly an old man who wore all white clothes “Stop it” and got near to wounded general. “ Who are you?” said general with sad face. The old man said that was just ordinary people who to help the general from people’s punishment.
“Please release the children from the ghost cave!” asked the general wishfully. If it was done the general also got released from punishment. Not for along time. The general and the old man near the ghost cave. The old man took a time to mediat, he stood and kick down his foot three times. In Instan the cave door was opened. Magically. The old man turned to be the handsome man , children were release and went out from ghost cave with healty condition.. Soon the general asked the man to met the king. “My name Joko Tulus, the man who has saved your kingdom, my lord” said the man boldly. The king wanted that man tobe his commander, but he refused it. Joko Tulus said someone who depart from his/her word would get consequence. Soon after that Joko Tulus left wander and gave help to others who were really needed.
